.::.hx7: san francisco's favourites - fisherman's wharf, alcatraz & the magnificient golden gate bridge.::.
ok, i'm back-dating again.. sorry for all these delayed posts.. haha..
anyway, set off to san francisco on this fine saturday.. i was really happy tat the weather was good.. hee.. can't be any better with bright & warm sunshine & the occassional serving of the cool winds.. hee.. and so i was so happy for the day tat i woke up early to make lunch for myself and the others.. and here i was happily carrying the lunch - 2 mushroom egg muffins, 2 strawberry shortcakes (as i called it) and 4 apples.. delicious looking huh.. =) hee.. the apples were wrapped with brown paper.. this is taken on bus F.. the bus ride takes 1/2 hr..
anyway, there were 6 of us on this SF trip.. debiao, meichee, ben (debiao's netherlander fren from the i-house), john (nus exchange student @ uc santa crus) and luke (john's new zealander fren from ucsc).. san francisco's weird bus! =p
and so 6 of us set off to the cable car turntable.. as we walked there, we had to pass by the bart station.. 4 of them were asking for directions while trying to help an old cantonese man to cross the bart entrance.. ben and i were looking ard for maps when this guy came to us and talked to us.. apparently, he claimed to be a student who did not have enough money to take the bart back home and want to borrow $6 from us.. (he is bl***) hohoho.. u may think $6 is not a lot ya? haha.. i tot so too.. i even tot of giving 1 buck from each of to him so that he can take the bart back home.. but i was hesitant, cos i know there are a lot of homeless ard and they are always asking for money.. yet, i was too soft-hearted and want to help him.. then, as i was still undecided wat to do, luke was shouting to the bart officer abt her rude manners to the old man.. (she is bl***) so i was kinda distracted and went to the 4 of them and at the same time asked for their opinions abt this stranger.. they told me not to trust him and thus, ben was left alone to "deal" with this stranger for a while.. den when we had finally to go, this weird stranger actually followed us.. oh no, was wat i tot.. looked like he was really up to no good.. we had to tell him we had no money before he was willing to leave us alone.. and so? lesson learnt: never trust anyone asking for money.. actually, i was half-believing him cos he looked decent, well-dressed and all.. did not look like a homeless.. haiz.. looks can be deceiving!

me very near, well at least i think it was near, to golden gate bridge.. =) we were here to see sunset, but only to realise tat the sun was setting on the other side of SF.. ok, it was my dumm idea.. oh well.. at least we were here.. haha.. =p

after we left ggb, it was dark already.. ben and a bus-stop.. the bus stop was really not very visible cos it looked like a lamp post to many of us.. haha..
and so we took bus back to the city.. john & luke left us and went back to santa cruz.. the rest of us went back to berkeley for dinner..
