i'm sorry pple.. i haven been updating this site for very very long.. school had started and i'm trying to settle down in class.. trying very hard not to keep thinking abt where i'm going after class, what i'm doing in the weekend.. haha.. but ya.. anyway, this is a back-dating post.. more up-to-date posts will be up soon i hope..
ok, so this day, wuyan, meichee and i joined the other eap (exchange abroad program) aka sep students for a campus tour.. and we went to campanile! hee.. and of cos we went up! haha.. jonathan, ain't i luckier than u? haha..
this is on top of the campanile.. the tall clock-tower i mentioned in earlier posts.. it's kinda my favourite landmark of the campus.. haha.. and so tat day, all the eap students went up to this tower.. it looks really tall, but only abt 11 floor high i tink..
still @ the top of campanile.. oh, juz for the sake of pple who wld like to know how to pronounce this word.. it's cam-per-ni-li.. at first i oso din noe how to pronounce it.. it was jonathan who first taught me the correct pronounciation.. haha.. and ya, this is me looking pretty spastic overlooking the campus and the bay area of california..

and after the campus tour, we went for lunch before meeting debiao and cheryl to go up to the strawberry canyon.. and we met more pple @ the I-House - Lars from Switzerland and Uh Young from korea..
this is the football stadium of berkeley.. very big.. but can u see the crack out there? they say this crack is getting longer every year.. haha.. hope it doesn't cause the whole stadium to collapse..
this is the university of california botanical garden which is on our way up to the strawberry canyon.. by the way, the canyon has no strawberry.. it's juz a name.. cheat my feelings.. before i was in berkeley.. i tot there were strawberries up here.. but no.. they say last time haf, but i dunno.. ok, tat was side-tracking.. more of botanical garden.. we din go in.. all this are taken outside.. probably shd go one of these days.. when no one pei me, den i can go by myself.. cos it's really near to campus.. and i can keep taking pictures of flowers? haha..
ok.. and so we kept walking and walking.. a whole lot of miles! and it's tiring even though the sunshine is warm and the cool air is refreshing..
and here i was at lawrence hall of science, overlooking the bay area.. cannot see the golden gate bridge nor the islands.. but ya, it's the bay area.. haha.. anyway, side track again, i tot it was a dumm idea to build a science lab on some canyon.. haha.. but scientists are rich.. they have cars which they can use to drive up the canyon.. haha..
this one is from another direction where the background is of the houses up on the canyon.. ok, now u see me in juz a long-sleeved shirt, cos i was really hot aft climbing up the slopes, although i din sweat.. and later, u see how i hide under my coat again.. anyway, we are halfway thru the canyon liaoz..
can u see the ggb @ the right side of the photo.. a very small one, but tats the magnificient ggb! haha..
ok, i was sitting on a fake whale, still @ lawrence hall of science.. see that brown building on the right and the trees on its left.. we went up there next..
up up up we go.. and i'm not in picture.. haha..
ok, this is a view of lawrence hall of science from up there @ the brown building there.. the whole hexogonal place is like a outdoor plaza for family outings.. haha.. the long black thing towards the right was the fake whale tat i was on..

after we went back down to lawrence hall of science, debiao, cheryl, meichee & uh young went back to get some groceries from safeway, which is not very near.. but wuyan, lars and i stayed back for sunset..
and so we have sunsets.. =)
after sunset, the night was really cold.. as we travel downhill, we were tugging tight to our coats and jogged down cos we were really really cold.. i was shivering and my teeth were chattering.. woo.. cold..
but it had been a great day.. i like nature sightseeing.. =)
